Checking is a used Strato is still under warranty ?

Is there a way to check if a used Strato I want to buy from a friend is still under warranty ?

Also what are common issues that might occur after it is out of warranty ?

I bought one new Strato and a used one about the same time and both worked perfectly. You just potentially need to 'clean up' the used one if the seller hasn't deleted their films or set it back to dhcp etc. Then register, pair (co-star needed of course) if adding to a Premiere system and use like new.
 
Matt, just a heads up, I wouldn't post my serial number on a public forum. You may want to remove it.
