Benefits of registering for a full account:

    • Use the "Conversation" feature (known as "private messaging" on other forums) to communicate directly with any of the other users here.
    • Access the Files area. The "resources" area of the forum contains many "Favorite Scene" and Script files that can dramatically increase the enjoyment of your Kaleidescape system. Go directly to great scenes in your favorite movies, created by other owners, and add automation to playback of your system with Scripts.
    • You won't see this annoying notice at the top of every screen!😊

It's easy and free to register for the forum. Just click the "Register" button in the upper right corner of this page, and follow the instructions there.

Bookmarks?

Start scene, end scene to create scenes. No ability to bookmark much else

I see, thanks. So there’s no true Bookmark function? You have to create a Scene with start and end points. Thanks.

If your aim is to create just a sort of starting point that will then continue playing, you can create a scene (Info -> New Scene -> Set Start of New Scene), then save the scene. If you don't create an end point, this will create an open-ended scene that will just play from the point you set to the end of the movie.

However, do note that at that point, you are playing a scene. So for example, the chapter-skip button will skip to the next scene, if any, rather than the next movie chapter.

You can also mark the start and then the stop a second or 2 later. When you play that scene it comes up and immediately pauses. Then you can press Play and watch the movie normally from that point.
