NEWS: Bond Movies Added

I am doing one bond movie a weekend. Last week watched Casino Royale. This week Quantum of Solace. Next week cannot wait.

I watched the download of On Her Majesty's Secret Service last night and I was completely blown away by the quality of it. In the past, I have watched the old Bond films on DVD or on TV and the films have felt and looked a bit old and stale. But the download quality is just superb. It completely gives the film a new lease of life. I'm going to work my way through the Bond films. From Russia With Love next, and then Dr No. I know I am out of sequence but I think these are acknowledged as being towards the top of the Bond film rankings......debatable I know!

Don't expect the same quality from - in particular Dr No. Though it's good in parts it has it's issues (some in part due to it's age, others to the "restoration" carried out by Lowry. But it's still a great experience.

Having intially been disapppointed with Dr No, I decided to check out From Russia With Love, to see if it showed the same issues. Thankfully by and large it didn't - though there were still some "force-field/haloing" issues, the presentation was largely stable, wonderfully colourful and a huge upgrade on the Bluray. On this basis will work through them chronologically - Goldfinger and Pussy Galore next.

Were the James Bond movies removed from the Store? I only see License to Kill and Octopussy.

Yup, they're back.

Sorry about that. As you might imagine, when we have rights to sell a particular movie, those rights come with an expiration date attached. As that date approaches, they get refreshed with a new date. I'm not sure what happened here, but somewhere along the chain that refresh didn't happen at the normal time. Just a data issue.

Any chance at getting No Time To Die day and date?

That would be fantastic!
