Aspect Ratio Handling for Trailers

One of the things that brought me to KScape was the ability to signal my projector to change zoom mode for different aspect ratios. This works awesomely for browsing movie posters and playing the movie. Where it breaks down is when you want to play several trailers. This results in waiting a lot for the projector to go from 2.36 to 1.78 (Most trailers are 16x9) and back. I know KScape has a feature that allows you to zoom to 2.35 and then scale 16:9 content in software. I’d love to be able to use software scaling for trailers, and hardware zoom transitions for movies. Is that possible? If not, could we add that?
