Any idea on James Bond movies?

So we have Star Trek, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, etc...

Any idea when we might see James Bond?

The Bond movies are distributed by MGM, who is not in the store. Hopefully K can add them in the near future. They've added a couple studios lately, so that is encouraging.

The Bond films are more complicated, the plan is for them to eventually be in the Store, but it is not MGM that makes the decision, or sets the terms. Most of these film are still ultimately controlled by the Broccoli family (Barbara in particular). For a little more than a year now, Universal has been involved as well. EON Productions (Broccoli) maintains ultimate control over nearly all Bond films.

Hopefully any future acquisition of MGM, or even the talks themselves, will not affect Kaleidescape's ability to supply the Bond franchise.
Netflix and Apple in talks to acquire MGM

I was a little concerned when I read this as to K's future position. I don't know if MGM is locked in for a long time or if any Bond film negotiations may be delayed or otherwise at risk if active talks are actually in progress. Early days and hopefully all works out well in the end.

At least Kaleidescape have MGM’s catalogue minus bond -

Which movie titles are not eligible for Movies Anywhere?

...Movies Anywhere features a wide range of films from Disney, Sony Pictures Entertainment Inc., Twentieth Century Fox Film Corp., Universal and Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. At this time, movies from non-participating studios such as Paramount, Lionsgate, and MGM are not eligible and will not migrate to your movie collection. As Movies Anywhere evolves, we will continue to add more content partners.

I still think we will eventually see the Bond films, the process of bringing those films to the Store is slower because of the various interests involved (existing contracts, various studios, other legal relationships), in addition to Broccoli approval.

Aye, agree with @House72 but certainly bodes well if they can get the agreement to stream in place, then hopefully digital purchasing can't be that far behind... unless Amazon has signed an inclusive deal.
