I get wanting to help out on things. I even get thinking you might be able to do things better than is being done. What I don’t get is taking over an idea that someone else started and treating it as your own.

When I started the tread about this, it after the codes had been leaked for some 4K titles and I had noticed that some new titles were not being offered by some of the major studios in 4K - only HD. I wanted to track this and see if there was a trend.

After that, I noticed that there seemed to be a prevailing idea on other forums that there were two options if you wanted the best video and audio - Strato or a 4K UHD player and the only drawback was you had to wait a little longer for the disc. That’s when I started putting together all of the 4K titles available on Strato not available on disc.

In my original thread I was only tracking the seven major studios, only titles that are ready for download, and only US releases.

I could see someone offering to help keep things updated. For instance, I real”y like it that telem helps keep track of new releases for the forum. This takes pressure off of trying to get things updated as quickly as possible (he’s usually much faster updating than I am) and I can then update the release date in the original post.

I don’t understand just taking my original post, updating it with new formatting and other studios and posting as his own. He did PM me that he wanted to help out and I pointed out what I was and suggested he/she could do one that covers things I am not.

I enjoy keeping things updated and helping out on the forum. If a person wants to help out and add to the forum then try to come up with your own ideas not something that is already being done.

Nah. Pretty disrespectful if you ask me. At the very least give credit where credit is due. The funny thing is when I first looked at this post yesterday, I assumed it was JohnJ and didn't even notice it was someone else.

True, Johns been doing this for awhile, my apology that it didn't register with me.

In any case, let's keep it one thread, the one John created, and leave it at that. If someone wants to update the info, it would be nice to PM John with the info. John's fully capable of deciding the best way to get the info out to members, that's why he moderates these threads.

That said, Matt's a great guy, and I'm sure he understands, just need to communicate.
