1U Replication Problem

I am replicating data from an old set of 2tb drives (4 x 2TB) in a 1U to my other 1U 6TB servers. Question I have is when starting the replication process, everything seems fine and then 10 minutes into replication, the 1U with replication enabled just stops. I end up having to shut down the server and start replicating again. This server has a new power supply, ram, battery and ram module. Could this be a failing file system? Thoughts?

Before replication, I noticed that movies and content on this 1U 2TB server disappeared from my system. Weird. All started happening after recent Premier firmware update.

Gents,

Replaced the RAM module and it fixed the problem. Updated it with newer version but same characteristics. Noticeable improvement in the access speed of this server when pinging it. Will keep you posted on any further issues.

Has replacing the RAM module resolved the other issue you recently reported, where your 5-server cluster would have problems and need to be rebooted periodically?

Mike... no although it does stay on, I will loose connectivity of the server. It is like it falls off the system. I reboot and it is fine. Need to reboot every couple of days. Any ideas?

No, other than it makes me suspicious that there may be a hardware problem. It really should be escalated as a support request through your dealer. I'm sure they'll be able to get to the bottom of it!
