It's easy and free to register for the forum. Just click the "Register" button in the upper right corner of this page, and follow the instructions there.

  • 🔷Why can't I make a new post here in "The Marketplace"? 🤔

All registered users can reply to other members' posts here in the Marketplace, to respond as potential buyer or ask questions of the seller.
However, only members who have paid to become "Premium" members or "Patrons" can make a new "for sale" post here in Marketplace.

Premium memberships can be purchased for as little as $10... a very reasonable fee in order to sell equipment here, far lower than the seller's fee would be on eBay or Audiogon or other sites. Our site doesn't sell ads or sell user's information. This small fee is the only source of funds for the site to offset the costs it takes to run the forum.

FOR SALE: 1 TB 1U/3U Hard Drives for Sale

JCHS

Well-known member
I have recently upgraded my hard drives to larger capacities and am selling re-initialized hard drives. I have 15 x 1TB drives left and 4 x 750 gb drives.
Price for each 1 TB drives are $400 and $300 for each 750 gb drive. I believe there are no warranties on any of these. Price includes shipping to buyer. PM me with any questions.
thanks,
Jeff

Can I ask how did you swing it to get K to invalidate those out-of-warranty discs? I tried to get my 750's invalidated but they wouldn't do it because they were out of warranty.

I upgraded two of my 3U servers from 1 TB to 2 TB and paid to re-initialize the drives, as well. I believe they were still in warranty when I did that.

Hiya mate
I just wanted to know if the 750 gb discs are still available and if they would fit the
K server 2500?
Thanks bob

Hi. The 750's are the low-profile discs, and they fit the 1U/3U servers, or Kserver 1500 or KServer 5000. They DO NOT fit in the KServer 2500. However, they are still available.

I'm interested but it must be a stand alone drive configured. Is that the case with the drives you are selling? If so I'd like to make a deal with you. Also give me the original date of purchase of the drives.

Scott

I believe K still re-initializes 1TB drives, just not 750GB drives. At least that is what my dealer told me when I needed one re-initialized.
