    FOR SALE: 3 x 750gb K-discs

Is the only option then to replace all disks? I thought the whole purpose of having the redundant proprietary RAID system that K-scape uses to guarantee that something like a failed disk would not render the system totally unusable.

Question re disc failure in 1u server.

Looking for one or several drives for an out-of-warranty K1500 server. The drive that failed is a 750MB drive.

    FOR SALE: 3 x 750gb K-discs

So..., I have an out-of-warranty K1500 server with one failed drive. Can I use one of these drives? Does K-scape need to re-initialize it - really?

    TrueHD stutter

BTW, I asked K-scape support if there is a way to determine if a BluRay disc is playing from the tray or from the server and K-scape confirmed there isn't (at least not from the GUI).

    TrueHD stutter

I tried various combinations of cables, receivers (2 Denons), BD-player (Panasonic), source material (Iron Man 2, Dolby HiDef reference disc, THX BD Calibration Disc), and it all points to the K-scape M500 as the culprit. The THX disc sails through with the Panny BD player. I have escalated...

    TrueHD stutter

dlittle: The issue is similar to what you describe - the sound stops for a split second. In the case of the THX trailer, the sound stops several times (stutters) on a very specific section of the Amazing Life trailer. The section exhibits a lot of changing graphics and loud bursts of sound all...

    TrueHD stutter

I am using the new THX BluRay optimizer disc (for installers only) and when I play the "Amazing Life" trailer, the sound stutters. I am using a Denon 4310CI and a Panny Plasma display. I also made sure only high-speed HDMI cables are used in the whole chain from the M500 to the Panny. I can see...

updated favorite scenes (been a while)

I am having trouble importing these favorite scenes into my demo system. I have 4.0.1 and I have tried from a FF and Safari on a MAC, and IE on a PC. I get "This file does not seem to be a script that was exported from a Kaleidescape System." I have tried the functionality by exporting my own...

    Web UI Improvements

Java on N800 Hi, Check out http://www.pikesoft.com/blog/index.php?itemid=178 for a Java ME implementation for the N800. I haven't tested it myself, but will shortly. I too am interested in controlling the K with other types of devices than AMX/Crestron. Perhaps Flash would be a better option...
