    This is interesting news, but I am not as sanguine as many on this site about the prospects for Kaleidescape. My fear is that they have been forced to take a huge gamble. For K to succeed after November 2014, they will still need to sell their products to new customers and not just existing...

    I have recently added a second K system to my K store account and something odd has happened. Instead of having 30+ options to upgrade from DVD to BR quality, I now have only one. If I now want to upgrade I have to pay full price, apart from the one DVD quality title which had UV rights...
