    Halo Touch vs Non-Touch

I know we have a bunch of control4 users here, so any strong opinions on the touch vs non-touch versions of the new Halo remote? I'll be using them in my theater, game room, and family room in the new house, and I'm trying to decide what version is best. Any opinions are welcome.

    Issue w/ Strato C & Terra Prime 22TB both in a 1u Rackmount

That looks like the front face plate. Can you slide it a little up and to the left before tightening the rack mount screws or not enough wiggle room?

    Updates from Kaleidescape Marketing

I think the most important callout here is determining the audio track. My guess here is on some titles other platforms have an atmos track because it is a lossy near field mix optimized for soundbars and you and/or the studios opt for a lossless mix of a non-object oriented variety where your...

Storage Management - Sort by File Size

Is it possible to sort downloaded movies by file size in one of the various screens? This would be useful for those of us storage constrained as it may impact what we decide to leave readily available vs delete and download should we want to watch.

A cheaper version. I’ve got 7 TVs in my house. Given the price of the units, I only have Strato C’s in the theater and family room

OFF-TOPIC 24TB and 26TB Enterprise level HDDs now available

Lol, I bought a terra prime 48 TB from cinelife in September, and it is already full. I originally planned to sell my 6TB compact terra, but I ended up keeping it.

    Creating / Managing Collections

Unfortunately, I don't have a PC that stays at home. Just the laptop that goes with me when I travel.

Boooooooooooooo, it would be great if you could add that capability.

    Creating / Managing Collections

Is it possible to create/manage collections from the web movie store or app? I travel a lot for work, so I'm not always able to access the .local location when I make purchases. It would really help me to stay organized if this were possible when not on the same network as the server.

SOLD: LET'S MAKE A DEAL: Compact Terra 22TB - Full warranty

Agreed, bought a 6 TB in May, and filled it up in less than a week witht he disc to digital program. Bought a Terra Prime 48 from Jim when released, and it's got space left for ~190 movies. I was originally going to sell the 6TB, but I'm now strongly considering keeping it given I already have it.

If you're looking for the Atmos/DTS:X track...

Atmos isn’t always lossless. There’s lossy atmos as well as near field atmos for sound bars, which doesn’t sound the best on true multi-channel systems. Basically, studios use it as a marketing ploy to sell more content in some, not all, instances

If you're looking for the Atmos/DTS:X track...

Personally, I’d prefer to use the upscaling feature on my processor than have a 3rd party try to sync two different files or sub in a low quality, soundbar focused spatial audio track for a lossless non-spatial audio track. I may be in the minority, but my theory is have the studio give you the...

    New Kscape Products

That's about as fast as you'll get on the Terra Prime HDD. The speed is limited by the physical write speed of the hard disks. The Terra Prime SSD's will top out closer to the full 2.5 of the ethernet port (assuming adequate internet).
