    1U Power Supply Issue???

    Thanks Jay! I found a solution using parts from Amazon. I tested it for several weeks and worked fine. I ended up buying a 3u and moved my drives over to it. I’m looking for a used set of hard drives for a 1u so I can test it for a longer period to be certain it’s a viable longterm solution.

    When I attempt to buy all of the Star Wars movies I need, it gives me a price of $90.38 but when I go to confirm the purchase it is $105.38. I then try to purchase just one of the movies fore $14.99 but when I go to confirm the purchase it is $29.99. It appears to be adding $15 to any purchase...

    Yes, but if you read my follow-up post they fixed it. It was a glitch... the sale was still going. It was trying to charge more for the D2D than if I just purchased the movie at the sale price. Fortunately, the issue was only temporary.

    Anyone else notice some of the "special pricing" has changed. The Toy Story movies were $14.99. I have all in DVD quality and went to buy the D2D this morning and now they are $21.67 to upgrade. The same with Rio... my D2D price is $13.00???

    Thanks Mark! It appears Amazon US has the PSU in stock, but I can't find the power brick. Do you by chance know of another power brick that will work? Additionally, I checked with K and Rusty he said "you can try a service kit (power supply) for the KSERVER-1500, SVC-KIT-0020." Jim checked...

    Can someone tell me what a 1U acts like when the power supply goes bad. On my 1U if I push the power button the blue backlight flash for just a fraction of a second and then the server will not power up. I'd like to know if others have had this same experience? Thanks! Brent

    Thanks I did not know that! I wish there were a simpler way though. The K Store knows the ones you have that aren’t available... just wish it would show you those.
