    Possibly a daft question so bear with this dunce. I have an Alto in one room and I am thinking of getting hold of a second Alto for another room. If I do that, will the second Alto automatically detect what is stored on my existing Alto so I can watch my movies on the new Alto? Thank you. C

    I think it's the same with the film Breakdown (Kurt Russell). I can't see an HD download version for it but there is an HDR version. No major drama, I was just curious why there was no HD option.

    Thank you. I'm assuming that standard DVDs discs do not need to be present in the slot during playback.

    Quick query in relation to the DVD issue. Am I right in thinking that you can save/copy DVDs to this unit? The reference to "DVD import capable server" above has confused my simple brain! Thanks.

    Thank you folks. Really appreciate that. I'm wanting a unit that stores DVDs. Bit old school but I much prefer the discs, and I really can't be bothered to build a system, rip the DVDs and mess around with Plex etc. Will look at the two suggestions and see which of them accommodate my 'disc...

When I press the power switch, the power light illuminates and there is a whirring sound, like a cooling fan noise. But there are no other lights...
