    How to setup new Terra?

MikeKobb -- Thanks for your posts. I am pleased to report that my entire Kscape library downloaded to my Terra/Strato system in about 10 days and everything operated as advertised. I have also confirmed that the system is smart enough to not download a second time any film that is on the system.

American Sniper - 4K HDR version

I didn't get around to buying the UHD HDR TrueHD Atmos version of American Sniper from the Kscape store until last week, thus this late post. There isn't such a thing as a bad Clint Eastwood film and American Sniper isn't bad, either. It isn't a classic in a class with either Unforgiven or...

    How to setup new Terra?

Yeah, I keep my system's History page open on my iPad all the time. So far, all titles in the list show only that they were Downloaded or Deleted. I have yet to see a Content already downloaded message.

    How to setup new Terra?

Thanks. So far at least, I haven't received a message that anything has been skipped but I'll keep an eye out for any such messages. Fortunately, my Terra still has over 70 percent of its storage capacity available, so I should be in good shape for now and quite a time to come. If I see anything...

    How to setup new Terra?

I have had a Strato since July 2016. When I bought it, I thought that its 6 TB of storage would be ample. Wrong! I ran out of space on my Strato months ago and was reduced to deleting existing content from the Strato and adding new content from my Kscape library, which contains 300 plus films...

Besides Dunkirk now I purchased The Dark Knight Rises without the IMAX scenes

I have long owned all three 1080P BDs of The Batman Trilogy. All three had varying aspect ratios that more or less tracked those in the IMAX theater release. All three, plus the rest of the Christopher Nolan oeuvre now available in UHD HDR quality at the Kscape store have a fixed aspect ratio...

    Get Out UV ?

Yeah, I bought the Get Out UHD HDR disk from Amazon when it was first released and was pleased to see the UV version show up in my Kscape library a few days ago. This was one of my favorite 2017 films, so I watched it again last night. (Thanks Kscape!) I'm ambivalent about Split, though. IMDb...

Question for Terra users with c-strato

Kostas -- OK, thanks. It sounds as if I will be limited to watching disks over the course of how many days it takes for the content on my Strato to be replicated to my new Terra. I may decide to delete all or most of the Strato's content and re download those titles from my Kscape library...

Question for Terra users with c-strato

telem -- Thanks a million for your informative post! It sounds as if my Terra-Strato combination will give me just what the doctor ordered. One more question, though: can I download a film from the Kscape store although the title is on the Strato but has not yet been replicated to the Terra? I...

Question for Terra users with c-strato

Am I correct in assuming that the only way I could see an integrated list of all my titles would be to make the Terra server and the Strato part of the same Encore System and have it replicate the content on the Strato to the Terra? If so, could I watch content on the Strato with no problem...

Question for Terra users with c-strato

I plan to make my Terra server and Strato components in a single Encore System. My Strato is already virtually full, it only has room for two more UHD movies, so I assume that all or most of my downloads after I get the Terra will go to the Terra. My dream would be that Kscape market a UHD HDR...

Question for Terra users with c-strato

Thanks guys! Like naylorman32, I will be downloading to my Terra server all the titles in my library that are not already on my Strato. I still have to watch some films on disk in order to have both UHD HDR quality video and TrueHD Atmos or DTS:X MA immersive audio but there are not nearly as...

Question for Terra users with c-strato

That's great news! Despite its extortionate price, I need a Terra server in order to avoid waiting ~2.5 hours for a UHD HDR title to download. When I get the Terra installed, I plan to download my entire library on it. I have between 300 and 350 titles, about 25 percent of which are UHD HDR...

Question for Terra users with c-strato

I have had a 6 TB Strato since June 2016. I have finally tired of filling it up, deleting recently viewed titles, and going through the slooow process of loading fresh titles from my Kscape library. Today I pulled the trigger and ordered a 24 TB Terra Movie Server from the same local dealer...

NEWS: Warner Bros 4K HDR Content Added!

Mike -- Thanks to your explanation,I found the HD Atmos audio version of Mad Max: Fury Road on my Strato. I had thought it was gone so was pleased and relieved to learn from your post that it is still there. I really appreciate your help. I have a hard time arguing with that. After I read Mike...

NEWS: Warner Bros 4K HDR Content Added!

We agree. TrueHD Atmos audio adds as much to my movie viewing experience as UHD HDR video does. Recently watched my UHD HDR copy of Mad Max: Fury Road, which I had upgraded from the HD Atmos audio version. The film looks sensational but I was sorry to have lost Atmos audio in the upgrade.

NEWS: Warner Bros 4K HDR Content Added!

Take another look at Post #6, above, from Mike Kobb. I had a telephone conversation with Luke O'Brien yesterday. He is Kscapes's Director, Content Operations. He gave me the same explanation as that posted by Mike Kobb. The problem seems to be that when some films are first made available to...

    Price fluctuations

I too appreciate Mike's explanation of the reasons behind the price increases. We all have a vested interest in Kscape's financial success. I for one have no problem with the price increases and hope they lead to more and better content at the movie store.

NEWS: 7.3 Released to dealer demo systems

John -- Thanks for your report. I hadn't thought to check the audio on the newly listed 4K HDR titles. What I am really hoping for is that a number of films with terrific Atmos soundtracks, which I own with BD quality, will be made available in 4K HDR. Examples would be Gravity and Mad Max: Fury...
