    Scripting on Strato (Tips Please!)

I started playing with scripts on my Strato. Love the feature, but I am curious as to whether I can improve upon my results. As an experiment, I created three scenes of short clips with great visuals (HDR) and sound (Atmos). I led off each scene with the movie's cover art (nice feature BTW)...

    Harry Potter in 4K

I am a little surprised that the last four Harry Potter movies are not available in 4K HDR from Kaleidescape. They were released in March by Warner Brothers. On the other hand, Fantastic Beasts (also by Warners Brothers) is available - and it looks and sounds great!

    Support for DTS:X

I noticed that Crimson Peak, which was just added to the Movie Store, does not have DTS:X (the DTS equivalent of Dolby Atmos) listed as an audio format. The Blu-ray release does feature a DTS:X soundtrack. Does anyone know what the plans of Kaleidescape are in regards to DTS:X?

    Feature Request - Tagging Scenes

As a Kaleidescape user, I would like to tag scenes, whether the scenes are created by my family or predefined by Kaleidescape, with arbitrary tags (e.g., Atmos, Film Classics, Sumptuous Visuals, Sci-Fi Action, Deep Space, Mafia Moments), so I can have themed collections of scenes at my...

    Movie Store in Kaleidescape UI

A feature I would love to see is an option to browser the Movie Store in the Kaleidescape UI. I can envision this as an even closer fit to the convenience of streaming (pick any movie) with the quality of Kaleidescape (full video and audio resolution in all its glory). I imagine one reason...

    Cataloging Blu-rays

Is my understanding correct that I can catalog my complete Blu-ray collection (approximately 800 movies) on Kaleidescape so the interface will display all my movies - even if many are not physically loaded in the Kaleidescape system (i.e., I have to manually grab the disc and put it in my...

    When Can You Start Watching?

I am considering Kaleidescape and am curious: Can you start watching a movie before it is fully downloaded from the Kaleidescape Store?
