    When cinema one goes pop!

    When my 1U server went pop and blew the main circuit breaker in the house it was the power supply. In my case there was a definite 'bang' as the lights went out. Chris

    Encore Line FAQ from K

    If there was a player that would see and play content from both server systems I think that would satisfy many premiere owners. Here in the UK I'm not expecting much from the store or 4K anytime soon but if I could start with a player now I could transition as/when the infrastructure allows...

    Kaleidescape today announced the launch of a new product line called Encore

    For me this is the key issue - the main selling point of the Kaleidescape system (for me) is the ease of access. Having a movie collection split over 2 separate systems is almost worse than having to look for the disks on the shelves (at least they would be all in one place). And, if I must have...
