Can I Record Movie on Alto #1 and Watch In Another Room on Alto #2

You should be able to watch any HD or SD title stored on any of your components (Terra or Alto) from either of your Alto players. Andy

Difficulty Playing Movie - Strato C

It would be a good idea to run another speed test after each change. You may also want to swap the server Ethernet cables as a test and see if the low numbers follow the cable or the server. Have a nice evening! Andy Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Difficulty Playing Movie - Strato C

It looks like the poorest numbers are coming from the Terra ending in 281 compared to server 061. Here are the numbers to be most concerned with since it reflects the data coming from a server to another component. a.) 281 -> 061 = 8.6 b.) 281 -> 718 = 7.3 c.) 281 -> 646 = 7.1 d.)...

Great movie covers resource for geeks like me

Hey Edgar, each piece of cover art has to be updated individually and I don't have any secrets to solve for that. I've easily put together several hundred over the years (probably over 1,000 actually 😭 ), and while I have no interest in maintaining a shared resource, I'd be happy to share a...

Noise isolation ideas for Terra server?

In a configuration like that, you would want it to be an exhaust, so yes, it pulls hot air from the closet into the attic. Andy

Great movie covers resource for geeks like me

Changing cover art in the browser interface changes it everywhere on your system including the OSD on your Strato. Andy Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Best Concert Recommendations

It doesn't show up on a search which means it likely got pulled for a licensing issue. Here is what it looks like in my movies. Andy

Excel Access to ALL movies (downloaded and not downloaded)

Another downside I've run into is that if you delete a title and redownload it, if you had added custom cover art or added it to a collection, all of that is deleted. Many folks don't add their own cover art which makes that a moot point, but if you take the time to create collections and add...

Excel Access to ALL movies (downloaded and not downloaded)

You can delete and redownload movies as often as you like. The downside is any content you delete stops appearing on your system until you redownload it. And yes, you can own many, many more movies than what fit on your system. I have 300+ movies that have been deleted to make room for new...

    Problem booting a K0510 player

Definitely a boot failure which means you shouldn't expect to see it on your network, but K support will have to tell you how to fix it. Good luck, Andy

    Movies on Sale...

For your never watched content, I suggest using the Watch Soon collection. Movies added there will automatically be removed after you watch them (vs. having to manually remove them from a manually curated "Never Watched" collection). Andy

Noise isolation ideas for Terra server?

Hey Jim (@cinelife), hope you and the family are doing well! Nothing fancy ... I installed some AC Infinity fans (others are in the main AV cabinet) and have been pleased with the quality and esthetics. I am not 100% certain, but I believe the link below is that particular fan in the photo...

Noise isolation ideas for Terra server?

It is a typical hall closet ... nothing special. I simply cleared off the top two shelves where my Terra and disc vault rest along with an 8-port network switch ... no special mounting equipment needed. Here is a shot where you can see the in-ceiling exhaust fan/sensor. Nothing impressive, but...

Noise isolation ideas for Terra server?

Keep in mind that you only need an Ethernet connection and a power outlet, which means anywhere you can run a network cable (and isn't too hot) is a potential location you could install your Terra server. Personally, I ran a network cable to a hall closet, installed a power outlet, and my 40 TB...
