I do not believe so but I’d check with customer support. Because you’re not charged until the movie is released I believe they charge the lower price but if they say no, it’s very easy to cancel a preorder and then preorder again at the lower price.

@ironcross might be able to clarify, but I don't think there's officially a "Director's Cut." George Miller I think has said he really likes the Black & Chrome version, so that's kind of unofficially his "Director's Cut," I suppose. But there's the Standard Edition and the Black & Chrome Edition. When I purchased the Standard Edition a couple of years back, the Black & Chrome version came with it, but was not identified as such, it was just this extra HD file with the download. Turns out it was the B&C version. We asked K to change the description to make it clearer what this HD version was because otherwise it just looked like we had the identical movie in two formats.

It's great to see a Mad Max sale before the release of Furiosa next week. The original Mad Max is MGM while the remaining are Warner, so we're unlikely to ever see a Content Set with these flicks; I'm glad we got a coordinated sale. Anyone know when sales actually end? They usually say 'Limited-time special pricing. Expires MONTH DAY' but does that mean the sale ends at the time the day rolls over to that day or to the end of the day specified?

Might seem trivial but when transfers from other currencies can take 3-5 working days one day might be the difference between the transfer completing and missing the sale. I have my eye on Mad Max but if I start the transfer now and the sale ends at midnight on the 21st then I might as well not bother.
