If you've registered here to for an account (free or paid), and it seems to take a long time to get your account approved, what is likely happening is that you have not replied to the confirmation email the system generates. It could be in your spam folder... but check around for it. It will have subject "Kaleidescape Owners Forum - Account confirmation required".

If you haven't replied to the email confirmation, the moderators never see the screen where we do the final step and approve the account. There are hundreds of accounts that remain stuck at this step as the person never confirmed their email address.

Once you've verified your email address, we get a list of accounts to approve the next time we log in as moderators. We try to do that within 24 hours, usually faster, but sometimes if we're both away or offline it can take a couple of days.
