Digital Offer Issue?

I’ve noticed several of my digital offer prices seem to be higher than the sale prices. For example, many of the Marvel movies in the current sale that I do not have a digital offer for are $9.99. The marvel movies in the current sale that I do have a digital offer for are more than double that price…

I tested by removing a cataloged marvel movie from my collection and the price dropped to the sale price.

Has anyone else noticed a similar behavior? Do digital offers just take a bit longer to update after a sale is announced?

Update… this issue appears to be tied specifically to the IOS app (for me atleast). The prices are correct on the movie store website.

I’ve also noticed the same issue for all D2D pricing during this sale period (in the iOS app- haven’t tested the browser while logged in). Hopefully it’ll be corrected soon.
FYI another way to test this without deleting a cataloged movie is to just view the movie store on a browser without being logged into your K account.

Just confirming same here. The iOS app shows the standard D2D price I was seeing prior to the sale. Using a browser, even Safari on my iPhone, yields the discounted D2D price to account for the sale.

Howdy folks. I apologize, this is a bug in the app. I haven't checked yet, but I would expect that it affects the Android app as well.

A fix has already been written for iOS (and will be ported to Android if needed), and it will be deployed in an upcoming release of the app. In the meantime, if you want to purchase a title like this, where the Disc-to-Digital, quality-upgrade, or rental-credit price is actually higher than the temporary sale price, please use a web browser.

I think that the store headend server would actually catch this price discrepancy and reject a purchase at the higher price, but I have not had a chance to test that yet.
