I had one of the very early 2U Pro's as part of the beta-tester program before the existence of the Pro was publicly known. It didn't like playing with my Krell Foundation processor as the Krell saw "silence" from the Pro with DTSHD-MA audio sound tracks. The Kaleidescape player had to be set to output LPCM but the M-class players can only do that in 5.1. And with changes in video resolution from the player (going from the top menu to playing a movie) the re-sync for the video to appear took about 30 seconds, and it was a gamble whether you'd get a picture at all. And if by bad luck the picture didn't appear I'd have to open the back of the server rack and start pulling out connectors and do whatever other black magic to get it working again. In the end it wasn't worth the effort, particularly when I bought a projector that had its own calibration software. My experience with Lumagen Support was outstanding, as others here have also mentioned. And Jim is right, I am half blind. Once the JVC auto-cal had done its thing I didn't feel the need to tweak that any further with a video processor.
If I had a native 4K projector and Lumagen built a slimmed down Pro version with 2 inputs and single output + audio it would be a better hardware fit for my needs.
