How About This NEW FEATURE: Menu on "TV" screen shows movies/tv shows in your collection but which you have not downloaded!

These recent sale and upgrade prices are costing some of us a lot of dough. I'm getting close to having my Terra Server 40TB filled up. Now of course on my PC I can see all of my movies and which ones are not downloaded. But I would like to see this on my "TV" projector screen that's 14' wide. So I search for a movie to watch, and if I don't have it downloaded, set it to download - with my Gigablast internet, takes 8 - 14 minutes to download!

I’m a big fan of this and have recommended it. Downloaded vs. not downloaded movies could be visually flagged or shaded differently to know which is which. There could also be a toggle in settings to enable/disable the view. +1.

I've shared this thread, so if this is a feature you want, please post a +1 with your thoughts on it.

The other thing I was thinking that is important with a full collection movie wall presentation is the ability to hide/remove titles on an individual basis from showing up. I know I have old cruft in my movie list I'd like to hide and/or delete. If I saw my entire library, I would want some certain titles omitted for sure.

It would be no different in result from the cataloged or previously-import-but-not-present behavior in the Premier system, or other versions/extras available (but not downloaded) in the Encore interface, so this makes sense.

+1 here as well....I am new to Kscape and was a bit surprised this wasn’t already an option. Just filled up my unit way faster then I thought with the Marvel, Pixar and Holiday sales.

Also, my Alto 6tb shows its 98% space available. How can I get the HD movies onto the Alto freeing up space on my Terra Server? As I have been buying way too many upgrade movies!

Over at AVS Forum a poster suggested simply deleting some stuff from the Terra Server, as I can always download a movie again if I decide to rewatch - as the Terra Server downloads for me a 4k movie in like 8-9 minutes, way longer for a download of a movie to the Alto. Good Point.
So how about whenever you own or buy a movie on Kaleidescape, if the movie is not downloaded onto your system in the highest quality that you own, that the movie is listed in your movie list, which shows up both on your computer and your tv/projector screen, as owned and available in whatever its highest quality is (E.G., 4k HDR, HD, etc) for download - and of course if the movie is on your system then the availability comment is deleted. At minimum this could be done for customers with a Terra Server who already have spent a fortune for storage.

The only way I know which might do this is to have your Terra off when downloading. This should force HD movies to the Alto...
