    Yes, doing a Raid rebuild is risky in that if another drive fails you have no backup. Kaleidescape therefore recommend you don’t force a raid rebuild, Thank you for pointing that out, I should have been more clear Adding drives is not risky, and I can’t see how swopping the hot spare is risky...
