    New hardware sold out already?

Thanks. For me Best Buy is my “go to” ahead of dealers simply due to me a)having a best buy credit card that gives reward points and b)extended returns for total tech members. Dont want to fault any dealers here who do not accept returns but as someone who had to return an 85 inch 8k Samsung Tv...

    New hardware sold out already?

Just looking at Best Buy and apparently all new Terra Prime hardware in every storage size and type (hdd/ssd) is already showing as sold out. Was/is there a priority to get these to dealers as opposed to retailers and any idea if this will change?

SOLD: LET'S MAKE A DEAL: Compact Terra 22TB - Full warranty

Just curious, are you not able to return within 30 days for a full or partial refund? I have only bought used K equipment and did not see anything listed on K’s website likely because the purchase goes through a dealer. Would this fall on the individual dealer to set their own policy?, again...

    Ethernet Points

You would have to look up the name and model number of the switch to see it offers power over ethernet (POE) and also the wattage as even if it is in fact POE your device(s) draw may exceed the rating. Purchasing a POE injector would solve your issue, but again you would to make sure the POE...

SOLD: Kaleidescape Strato S 6TB With warranty until 9/2025

Not looking to torpedo your sale/thread in any way but as has been covered many times here and on other forums the Strato S will not remotely approach “1gb” download speeds and would hate for someone to think because it has a Gb network port that means that is the download speed that they will...

    Purchase failed on Movie Store

Spoke with K…they are aware of the issue..apparently the error occurs when trying to purchase a movie that is on sale as opposed to full price when using the movie store from your hardware. If using the phone app there wont be any issues.

    Purchase failed on Movie Store

Wondering if anyone else is having/had this issue. Using my phone app I am able to purchase the movie I want, but using the Movie Store directly from my Strato S I receive the following error which wont allow the purchase to go through.

digital cost for D2D cataloged discs

Thank you all for the info..once again what it boils down to is cost of acquiring the device at current market value vs. # of discs utilizing d2d offers vs downloading direct from K. Current pricing appears to be Alto new/used $2k+, Cinema One 2nd gen $1k+, 1u server $1k+ depending on storage...

digital cost for D2D cataloged discs

Do disc to digital offers fluctuate in price based on holidays, award season etc.. Additionally would K be able to generate a master list of ALL d2d offers so that prior to cataloguing we would know if the chosen title is a less expensive option than the d2d price would be.

digital cost for D2D cataloged discs

Definitely would support this feature being added as Im currently on line to receive an Alto from Jim, and also thought about buying one for myself, but would be better to know if the disc to digital price is going to be worth all the trouble beforehand, not after cataloguing.
