    You watched that whole movie and everything that TC's character did in it and the one thing you question is how he was able to ride a motorcycle off the base??? LOL I think thrillcat explained it best...he's Tom Cruise. Great movie! Glad you watched.

    Thanks Substance for making this thread, I appreciate it. As one might guess by my picture I'm a huge Rocky fan and have been since 1982 when I first saw Rocky III. I begged mom to take me to the VHS rental store the next day to try and find Rocky I and II. I've been hooked ever since...

    Rope - I am really late to the party on watching this from 1948 but wow, so well done. Worth a watch for anyone that loves Hitchcock especially.

    Question to the community -How many of you use conventional TVs vs. projector screens?

    Agreed, not an outlier. I am currently using an 85" Sony TV myself and have for several years. It works for me. Nothing wrong with projectors, just what works for me.

    Eh, yes and no. It's in the same genre, but no special set of skills. However, people are killed, and he has to save his family. There's nothing groundbreaking here. If you were bored with the last 6 - 10 then I'd say this isn't for you or at least go in with lower expectations.

    Retribution - Better than expected. Sometimes when you set your expectations low enough, they get met and even exceeded! Not every movie has to be cutting edge, deep thinking, Oscar worthy epics, right?!? Either that or I'm a sucker for Liam Neeson movies.

    Millennium Club (Who's With Me!)

    I know this thread hasn't seen much action, but I've been waiting nearly 2 years to be able to join the Millenium Club so I wasn't about to let the age of the thread stop me from posting! I just crossed over at 1008 with my last batch of downloads. Now...about that badge idea! :)

    Plane - better than expected. Enjoyable action/suspense movie, sort of a throwback. CGI not the best, but it's a good popcorn flick.
