    Kaleidescape launches movie download store

I, too, wish that they would come out with a "coming soon" tab on the KStore so you can pre-order movies and they would automatically download the movie at midnight on that Monday (Tuesday, really) when the movie can be sold. Would be great to wake up to it in the AM...:)

    Blu-ray quality downloads and UltraViolet

I had the same thought - I also don't need/want the low-res version once I have the HD version...there should be a setting to automatically delete the low-res version if you wish, at the time of the download. I have a massive collection and doing it manually is not the easiest...

    Update on Prima Cinema

I personally would love Kaleidescape to integrate this service into their systems...perhaps an M1000 player that would allow the security etc...that would be required - even if the player was $7k or even a bit more, it could then integrate the entire movie collection/system and we would all need...

FOR SALE: 1 TB 1U/3U Hard Drives for Sale

Hi. The 750's are the low-profile discs, and they fit the 1U/3U servers, or Kserver 1500 or KServer 5000. They DO NOT fit in the KServer 2500. However, they are still available.

FOR SALE: 1 TB 1U/3U Hard Drives for Sale

I upgraded two of my 3U servers from 1 TB to 2 TB and paid to re-initialize the drives, as well. I believe they were still in warranty when I did that.
