    Kaleidescape launches movie download store

I know no one wants to think the worst, but if for some reason K goes out of business, what happens to all the content we have purchased? Could this be migrated to another system? Or can we also get a physical disk? I hate surprises!!

Soft Power Down and Power Up

Below is from the Kaleidescape support site. This seems to indicate that you can simply cut the power, at least for a 3U server. I don't know if this will also work for the disk vault. Regards Stephen 'Kaleidescape recommends leaving servers powered on for the reasons outlined in [K001393]...

Thoughts on Music with K/Is K falling behind?

As far as I'm concerned the BeoSound 5 from B&O is the bees knees. The interface is absolutely wonderful (even my wife loves it) and of course musically it has the usual very high quality signal processing from B&O. Ok it doesn?t interface with any music streaming services, but I don?t use...

Using the vault in the system

I have question which is somewhat related to this topic of storage. I have an M class player connected to a 40" screen. I find it I can't really tell the difference between a DVD and a Blu Ray disk. This could be one of two things - the poor quality of my eyes, or the high quality of the K...
