Kaleidescape Loan Process (for DVDs/CDs)

Because there are frequent questions regarding the lack of details or proper bookmarking of some DVDs and CDs that are imported, I'm posting a reminder that you can "loan" your DVD or CD to Kaleidescape and they will process the disk to setup the high-rez cover art, disk details, aspect ratio, and all bookmarks. This info becomes available for all owner's during future imports.

Utilizing the "Kaleidescape Loan Process" is not difficult and usually resolves all issues relating to missing disk details, bookmarks, multi-disk importing issues, missing cover art, etc. At present, K will even send you the required packaging for shipment, and prepaid shipping labels!! Turn around time is reasonable and is based on number of disks being processed at the time you submit your disks.

The process can be initiated by sending an email to:
loan@kaleidescape.com

You will be required to provide information about the disks, appropriate mailing address, dealer/installer info, etc. NOTE: K will only work with commercially available disks that have their original labels/packaging and UPC.

As always, your dealer is a good place to start for more info regarding this program, but you can also initiate the process on your own by sending an email to the address indicated above. (It is recommended you not post your email address on the forum, unless of course you want to know what "Suzie is doing with her friends.")
