Default Kscape Conductor Synch Problem

I was having problems synching Itunes with Conductor and getting an error message that the synch location was not valid. It turned out that my computer name was too long! Conductor can only handle computer names with 14 characters or less.

If you're having a similar problem, check your computer name. In XP, you can see your name by opening "System" in the control panel.

Once I changed the name, Conductor worked well!

Thanks for this tip. I had the same problem. Even tried to change to another disk location and changed copy options but Conductor just ignored my changes and went back to defaults. My computer name was 15 long. Changed it to less than 14 and now everthing works fine.
