Default Kaleidescape HQ Visit

Hello, all!

I visited the Bay Area last week and the good folks at Kaleidescape were kind enough to let me come visit, tour their new offices, and meet the team. Take a look at this blog and you can put a lot of faces with people you've probably worked with over the years!

Cheers,

Thanks for sharing your visit. It's nice to see a glimpse into their work and great to see their staff back at it after the hiccup.

Must zoom in to Gerald's picture... must determine if lower-right corner said "Paramount" before being erased...

Shame the wall of fame only 6-shelves per unit, but surprised they could fit that many discs in those drawer-units (unless that was only the most current room.)

Bet you wish you could see the high-res original! Or the wall *just before* Gerald wiped it clean.... :-)

There were multiples of these disc vault storage units. I think they said that each pull out tray holds like 10,000 or something. They were quite deep. Blu-ray and DVDs are stored in separate vaults.

Thanks so much for sharing John. It's great to put a couple faces with names that we've talked to over the years. Mike Kobb, great to see you on those photos and I would love if you could pass on a big thank you to everyone there. You guys have been so great to us over the years. My family really appreciates it. In particular, Rusty has fixed in minutes, what I had been working on for hours. And the best part was that you guys are always so happy to do it. Great service.

I can't wait to see what's coming up next. John, if you want to slip in a photo or two of things you shouldn't, that would be great. Studios, products, or otherwise.

Chris
