Default HDR Optimizer (ex. Panasonic & JVC)

So, Panasonic is doing all kinds of interesting stuff with their HDR tone mapping output of UHD HDR content. They also recently did a collaboration with JVC sot the new Panasonic UHD BD players work in direct tandem with the new JVC projectors with a coordinated dual tone mapping solution.

I wonder what kind of results could be had if K looked at similar features and partnership...

The Panasonic is not a state of the art tonemapper. There is a video processor called the MadVR Envy rumor has it coming out in 2 months, that is the mcdaddy of dynamic tonemapping i also believe that it can take the strato hdr 10 and regrade on the fly to hdr10+
