Default CEO Interview

http://www.technologyintegrator.net/...a+srinivasan-3

Will you be at CEDIA this year and if so, will you be introducing anything there?

Srinivasan: We will be at CEDIA, and well have three exciting announcements; we will fill you in next month.

I hope the bridge hardware already announced isn't one of those 3. Hopefully all studio and content stuff. Doubt we would see any new hardware.

I guess I felt that the bridge device was already announced and thus not one of the three thing being teased there.

The article specifically says that the "bridge" solution will be demonstrated at Cedia. We have been told it is coming but not the details yet (except that it will use a "switch").

Being a music and concert lover, I loved seeing this quote from Cheena:

"One area where we are focusing on high-fidelity audio is concerts. Concerts are both great visual entertainment as well as a unique audio experience. Its very personal. It evokes the past memories and brings out the best sensory feelings. We need to stay focused in our mission with movies and concerts for now, but we love Hi-Res audio and look forward to working with the music labels before too long."

It gives me a glimmer of hope that maybe down the road Kaleidescape may add hi-Rez audio content. At least from the statement they haven't ruled it out. Also, adding Eagle Rock recently is a step in that direction.
